Having spent three weeks in a hospital in Naples, Florida with my wife I couldn't help noticing what was going on in the hospital and I had a lot of time to talk to the doctors and nurses about what I had observed. Below is a commentary from an ER Doctor. Do you think this might be a big reason our health care system and our social security system are so screwed up?
Do you think this might be a big reason our taxes keep going up? Who do you think these people are going to vote for?
From a Florida ER doctor:
"I live and work in a state overrun with illegal's. They make more money having kids than we earn working full-time. Today I had a 25-year old with 8 kids - that's right 8; all illegal anchor babies and she had the nicest nails, cell phone, hand bag, clothing, etc. She makes about $1,500 monthly for each; you do the math. I used to say, "We are the dumbest nation on earth." Now I must say and sadly admit: WE are the dumbest people on earth (that includes ME) for we elected the idiot ideologues who have passed the bills that allow this. Sorry, but we need a revolution. Vote them all out.
This is an insult and a kick in the butt to all of us...Get mad and pass it on - I don't know how, but maybe some good will come of this travesty.
If the immigrant is over 65, they can apply for SSI and Medicaid and get more than a woman on Social Security, who worked from 1944 until 2004.
She is only getting $791 per month because she was born in 1924 and there's a 'catch 22.'
It is interesting that the federal government provides a single refugee with a monthly allowance of $1,890. Each can also obtain an additional $580 in social assistance, for a total of $2,470 a month.
This compares to a single pensioner, who after contributing to the growth and development of America for 40 to 50 years, can only receive a monthly maximum of $1,012 in old age pension and Guaranteed Income Supplement. Maybe our pensioners should apply as refugees!
Consider sending this to all your American friends, so we can all be ticked off and maybe get the refugees cut back to $1,012 and the pensioners up to $2,470.
Then we can enjoy some of the money we were forced to submit to the Government over the last 40 or 50 or 60 years.
SEND THIS TO EVERY AMERICAN TAXPAYER YOU KNOW.

People, you should be Angry at the destruction of America's Space capabilities !

We massive capabilities with shuttle, RMS, mmu, payload bay, space suits, all developed over last 30 years. Many thousands of citizens observed flybys of orbiters to the museums. Polls indicate 60 percent support shuttle, yet now seems people ( supporters) are unwilling to fight to return it to flight.

People this amazing system, the team, must be reestablished. Each of you must focus on getting your friends & neighbors to contact lawmakers to demand return to flight of this amazingly capable vehicle.

Illegals out of control

From the Los Angeles Times Newspaper

1. 40% of all workers in Los Angeles County (Los Angeles County has 10.2 million people) are working for cash and not paying taxes. This is because they are predominantly illegal aliens working without a green card.

2. 95% of warrants for murder in Los Angeles are for illegal aliens.

3. 75% of people on the most-wanted list in Los Angeles are illegal aliens.

4. Over 2/3 of all births in Los Angeles County are to illegal alien Mexicans on Medi-Cal, whose births were paid for by taxpayers.

5. Nearly 35% of all inmates in California detention centers are Mexican nationals here illegally.

6. Over 300,000 illegal aliens in Los Angeles County are living in garages.

7. The FBI reports half of all gang members in Los Angeles are most likely illegal aliens from south of the border.

8. Nearly 60% of all occupants of HUD properties are illegal.

9. 21 radio stations in Los Angeles are Spanish speaking.

10. In Los Angeles County 5.1 million people speak English, 3.9 million speak Spanish.
(There are 10.2 million people in Los Angeles County .)

(All 10 of the above statements are from the Los Angeles Times)

Less than 2% of illegal aliens are picking our crops, but 29% are on welfare.
Over 70% of the United States' annual population growth (and over 90% of California, Florida, and New York ) results from immigration.
29% of inmates in federal prisons are illegal aliens.

We are a bunch of fools for letting this continue!

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

Send copies of this letter to at least two other people. 100 would be even better.

Better get EPA under control. TVA closing 3000 megawatt coal plant. In Oklahoma AG Scott Pruitt says EPA acting outside clean air act will cost okies significantly in electric rates. This adm is damaging the USA economy in fossil fuel derived energy & in space technology , significantly impacting jobs & technological developments.

Dear Bobby,

We all know what the ethanol mandate could do – the vehicle and engine damage…the higher business and consumer costs…the devastation it could bring to America's food crops. We cannot allow Congress – and the EPA – to keep kicking this can down the road.

Tell Congress how you feel – repeal the ethanol mandate NOW!

First Congress talks about a short-term fix for the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). Now the EPA is considering minor revisions that would marginally soften the rigid, destructive ethanol mandates imposed by this fundamentally flawed law.

Why tinker around with something that we all admit simply does not work?

The ethanol mandate is out of touch with the realities of American energy demand, the refining process, and our essential national fuel supply.

The RFS is a bad law and no amount of revision will ever change that. Even in this day and age of a Congress that can't seem to agree on anything, this is a no brainer!

Tell Congress to do the right thing – repeal the ethanol mandate NOW!

Write Now

A two- or three-year freeze is not what America needs. We deserve a comprehensive solution. It's time for Congress to stop playing politics with our fuel. They need to listen to the American people and repeal the ethanol mandate!

Sincerely,

The Energy Citizens Team

Pickens Plan Army,

The Trans-Alaska Pipeline was built more than 30 years ago, and at one time we were getting more than 2 million barrels a day out of it. Now that number has fallen almost 75 percent to about half a million barrels a day.

I'm all for getting it back up to 2 million, aren't you? We both know that every barrel of oil that flows through the Alaskan Pipeline is one less barrel that we have to import.

It's time to open up ANWR and get the oil going back through the Alaskan pipeline.

Watch my latest BooneCam for more of my thoughts on this issue. Then send me a Tweet @BoonePickens with your thoughts.

P.S. The increasing popularity of natural gas as a transportation fuel in the U.S. was the subject of articles in two of the country's leading newspapers last week. Both The Wall Street Journal and The New York Times took a closer look at the advantages afforded by cleaner, cheaper, domestic natural gas, and, in doing so, each newspaper echoed key themes of the Pickens Plan.
